Group Retreats at Thatch Caye Resort

We've had a couple of inquiries this week about group getaways to Thatch Caye Resort. There have been some questions about how many people the resort can accommodate and how the Casitas differ from the Cabanas.

Casitas (little homes) are elevated single story units with rooftop decks, complete with hammocks, so that you can catch the island breezes and savor the spectacular views. Thatch Caye Resort Casitas feature 1 king size bed (or 2 twin size beds), window seat day bed, 3 piece bath with hot and cold running water, wireless Internet, mini-fridge, ventilation fans, and rooftop patio with hammocks. Maximum occupancy is 3 people.

Cabanas, with native thatch roofing and cool tile floors, are perfectly positioned to take advantage of the sea breezes and views of nearby islands and the Great Barrier Reef. Cabanas feature 1 king size bed (or 2 twin size beds), 3 piece bath with hot and cold running water, wireless Internet, ventilation fans and an over-water sundeck with hammocks. Maximum occupancy is 2 people.

The Thatch Family Villa features 2 cabanas each with a king size bed (or 2 twin size beds), private washroom and shower. Dividing and joining the two cabanas is a private living room/dining room and kitchenette with additional sleeping accommodation for two people. Maximum occupancy is 6 people.

Our maximum capacity at Thatch Caye Resort is 28 people! Please let us know your group size and room configurations and we will do our best to accommodate you!
